Rae Ann Miller is chief risk officer at IntraFi. She was previously the senior deputy director of the division of risk management supervision at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., where she oversaw national supervision programs, both onsite and offsite, for all FDIC-supervised institutions, including community, regional, and large institutions. She was also the FDIC’s senior policy officer over regulations and guidance related to credit risk, corporate governance, brokered deposits, third-party risk, and all other general safety and soundness matters. Her policy duties included updating and maintaining safety and soundness examination manuals and work programs, and she led significant efforts to improve safety and soundness examination planning, documentation, and continuous examination processes.
She has extensive executive-level experience in safety and soundness and has led related work groups and projects associated with the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council, the Financial Stability Oversight Council, and the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision. Miller also has served in the chairman’s office and the division of insurance and research at the FDIC.
Ms. Miller received her bachelor’s degree from King’s College and is a commissioned bank examiner.
