Todd leads communications and marketing for Partners for the Common Good and its affiliate, Community Development Bankers Association. Hehas a deep background in financial services, financial technology, public policy, and regulation, and throughout his career has led enterprisewide initiatives in strategic and crisis communications, media relations, magazine and newspaper editing and publishing, thought leadership and business development, and marketing.
He previously headed communications and marketing at professional services firms, including at a law firm with national practices in consumer financial services and complex litigation, and at a leading consulting firm in the financial regulatory arena. Before that, he was a senior writer at Fannie Mae.
Todd started his career in securities research and financial journalism before moving into communications. He spent several years at the American Banker, where as associate editor he wrote about legislation and regulatory policy for its Washington, D.C., bureau, and about capital markets and financial performance for its national desk. Prior to that, he was editor in chief at a predecessor to S&P Global Market Intelligence. He graduated from the College of William and Mary with a bachelor's degree in history.
