About me
Jahi Wise is executive director of Southern Communities Initiative. He previously served as acting director of the $27 billion Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund at the Environmental Protection Agency and as special assistant to the president in the Biden administration, advising on finance, economic development, and sustainable investment. His experience spans the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, including work as a project finance attorney. He holds a J.D. and an MBA from Yale University and a bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College.
