Laurie is a dynamic leader with deep expertise in housing policy, finance, and climate resilience. As chief investment and impact officer of Partners for the Common Good, she drives strategic growth, leads capitalization efforts, and spearheads initiatives that align public and private capital to create scalable, high-impact solutions for mission-aligned lending projects.
Laurie was previously senior policy advisor at the White House, where she played a pivotal role in advancing the president’s housing agenda, increasing housing production by 17%, and securing billions in funding for sustainable development. She also led the development of the nation’s first climate resilience framework, enhancing investment strategies for physical risk reduction across the country.
She has a strong background in structuring complex deals, fostering investor relations, and integrating climate risk into financial systems, and has held leadership roles at Enterprise Community Investment and Enterprise Community Partners. Her work has shaped national housing and climate policies, secured multimillion-dollar investments, and influenced key legislation.
Laurie has a master of urban planning from the City University of New York and a bachelor’s degree from Smith College.
