Thomas M. Simpson is a co-founder and general counsel of Deposit Coin, a patent-pending stablecoin infrastructure platform designed to unlock FDIC-insured digital dollars by connecting banks, issuers, and exchanges in a compliant, capital-efficient model. He has more than 15 years of in-house experience advising financial institutions and fintech platforms, and brings deep expertise in bank regulation, deposits, lending, governance, privacy, and enterprise risk.
Prior to Deposit Coin, Simpson was general counsel, corporate secretary, and chief compliance officer at a deposit marketplace (Raisin US), and senior counsel at Deutsche Bank with primary responsibility for U.S. deposits coverage and related regulatory matters.
He began his legal career at leading law firms and holds an MBA in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
