Vance Smiley is founder of System61, a new cloud-native platform that enables progressive banks to launch unique mobile and web products
. He previously spent 15 years leading a family-owned business, Smiley Technologies, Inc., that builds and services core banking technology solutions for community banks. Earlier in his career, Vance spent time in private equity and in IT services businesses in Texas and Tennessee.
Vance holds degrees in finance and organizational behavior, including an MBA from Vanderbilt University. Vance and his wife Angela have three children and are elders at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Little Rock. He enjoys work, family, sailing, and flying.
