Community Funding Advisors Founder, Dawn Reiff, founded Community Funding Advisors after her tenure as a senior staff member at The CDFI Fund. She helped shape many of the programs offered today including the Bank Enterprise Award (BEA) and New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) program.Dawn R. Reiff is the President of Community Funding Advisors and has 30 years of experience within the community development industry. In 1997, she began working at the U.S. Department of Treasury’s office of Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund). As a CDFI Fund staff member in its very early years, she was responsible for the shaping of many of the programs offered today, including the BEA and NMTC programs. Also while at the Fund, she was responsible for reviewing and analyzing funding applications and made funding recommendation.After seven years with the CDFI Fund, Dawn founded Community Funding Advisors, which, among other services, provides consulting expertise to potential and current CDFI’s.Skilled in accounting and financial analysis, Dawn brings an abundance of expertise which is complimented by an MBA, a Master’s of Science in Accounting, and a BS in Management and Accounting from the University of Maryland.
