Susan F. (Susie) Smith, a business consultant with over twenty- five years of experience as a banking executive, is passionate about improving healthcare, education and financial well-being for women, minorities and underserved communities through board service and community advocacy.Ms. Smith was formerly Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Simmons Bank in addition to serving as CFO and COO at predecessor banks. Previous honors include being named by US Banker as one of the Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking and the Arkansas Society of CPA’s Public Service Award.Ms. Smith currently serves on the boards of Southern Bancorp Bank, CHI St. Vincent, Arkansas Commitment Leadership Program and the Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation. She has previously served in board leadership roles for several healthcare companies and other civic and community organizations.
